Ms. Elderly Massachusetts LIVE in Cambridge

Well I’m not sure what you people did during lunch but I just had the privilege of seeing Ms. Elderly Massachusetts perform LIVE here at a hospital in Cambridge. I have no idea why, all I know is I got a call, “Pete, come upstairs, you have to see this.” So I did. And what did I see? A 75 year old woman wearing what appeared to be an “evening gown” with her hair puffed up and a red ribbon across her chest that said “Ms. Elderly”. Oh, it’s true. What song was she singing? Because of course she was singing. How about, “How Sweet it is to be Loved By You” by James Taylor.
“....I’m gonna stop. And thank you, baby….”
She even didn’t come close to hitting a note, but trust me, the fact that there was no swimsuit competition MORE than made up for it. Sure we’d all rather have Ms. Nevada perform instead, but Ms. Elderly Massachusetts was truly a sight to be seen and made coming into work that much more special on a -152 degree day.
